Booking & Payment Policy
To secure your preferred survey date:
- Bookings made more than 28 days before the inspection require a 40% booking deposit.
- The remaining balance is payable prior to the survey.
- Bookings made within 28 days of the inspection require payment in full at the time of booking to confirm the appointment.
Where possible, we will always try to accommodate changes to your booking date. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to rearrange.

Independent & Unbiased
We do not carry out remedial works. Our role is to identify the true cause of damp and provide unbiased, evidence-based reporting to support correct remedial decisions.

Third-Party Reliance
Reports produced by Kent Damp Surveys are prepared solely for the client named within the report and for the specific purpose agreed at the time of instruction.
No third party, including but not limited to prospective purchasers, vendors, landlords, tenants, insurers, contractors, mortgage lenders, solicitors or managing agents, may rely upon, reproduce, distribute or use the report without the prior written consent of Kent Damp Surveys.
Written consent must be obtained before any third party places reliance upon the report or uses it for any legal, financial, contractual or property-related purpose.
Any unauthorised reliance upon the report is entirely at the third party's own risk. Kent Damp Surveys accepts no duty of care, liability or responsibility to any person or organisation other than the original instructing client unless expressly agreed in writing.
The report reflects the condition of the property only at the date and time of inspection. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee, warranty or ongoing certification of the property's condition.
Kent Damp Surveys reserves all intellectual property rights and copyright in its reports. No part of the report may be copied, reproduced, published or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except by the original client for their own personal use.
